I am very interested in how people can connect and communicate more deeply using technology. Communication is arguably the central problem we face. If we could communicate vastly more efficiently, we would not tolerate injustice and lack of peace. The Internet opens up possibilities for a more abstract and embracing awareness. It is thus a tool for love.

Darth Browser post

Daisy just prompted me to rename IE "Darth Browser".

But seriously, who is your favourite Star Wars character, and why?
We can hide from infinity, but it will always be part of that with which we attempt to replace it.

December 2007... this was a message to Wilford... I post it again today!

So... still need to know what is my favourite character? Need I say more?

So many to choose from, Lea, Yoda, Lando, so many level heads Obe Wan but I guess if The Force is a choice... I choose the light side ;)

I guess I can at time identify with all of them, it is a microcosm of all the different levels of being. I'm more Yoda these days.

Having been sadly under educated for decades when it comes to Star Wars and the Matrix I have just about caught up.

I ditto ghadzoox's comment. The only difference being, in my case it was around 6 months ago. I know..(!!) :)

My older brother always got to be the hero; I got to be the sidekick. He was Batman; I was Robin. So, of course, he was Luke Skywalker; I was Han Solo. I'm sure he thought he was winnin'.

Han Solo was the coolest cat in the galaxy. Cool in a morally ambiguous and occasionally hot-headed way. My hero. So much so, in fact, that when I saw Harrison Ford in Falafel King with Calysta Flockhart (and despite the protestations of the actor friend I was there with) I had to tell him how significant a change he had wrought in my life with his portrayal of that role. Cool cat.

I'm gonna have to abstain. I never really saw the original 3 until a year or so ago (did enjoy them though). And I still haven't seen the se-pre-quels.

I always liked Hans Solo. His sense of humor was hilarious. Dry and witty - plus Harrison Ford was hot - holla!

Haha!

I'm not sure, since I've only seen bits and pieces of the last three, and I haven't seen #3, and I'm not sure if I've seen #2 all the way through :).

I think Obi Wan is secretly part of a new series of robot Jedi, his real name is Obi 1. Kenobi might be the name of the company :)

Enjoying Yoda-speak very much I am. An actual acceptable way to form sentences in German it is.

But usually they don't put EVERYTHING in front.

Oh, I like quite a few of them in different ways... But if I had to choose...Yoda I think... Got my own Yoda here at home too so... Elviz just looks like him sometimes with his huge ears, well sort of in a way anyway... =P
